	JFC Earth-wood decking brings the feeling of nature’s warmth right to your door whilst its low maintenance slip resistant surface gives you more time to safely enjoy it.

		The Benefits Environmentally Friendly Wood Composite Products: JFC Earth-Wood is made from reclaimed wood and polymer. Earth-wood is manufactured from a fully sustainable resource. It is environmentally friendly and yet it acts, feels cuts and even smells like real wood. Slip Resistant Properties: Earth-wood has an extremely effective slip resistant surface in both wet and dry conditions. In a commercial development this means your exposure to potential personal injury claims are reduced. Earth-wood has been independently tested to BS & BS-EN standards. No need to Seal, Stain, Paint, Oil or Treat every year: Earth-wood is non porous and is impregnated with UV stable tones. This ensures that it will retain its character for many years. Earth-Wood products are made from recycled polymer and reclaimed wood. These two materials combined provide the best of both worlds whilst the polymer protects the wood from moisture and insect damage. JFC Earth-wood saves you Money: Did you know that having to maintain your traditional wood decking or sanding on an average basis of once every year may cost the equivalent of 10-15% of your original cost of purchasing and installing these products? This means that in less than ten years you will have paid the equivalent of a second deck or fence. If however you choose not to regularly maintain your investment it will deteriorate and eventually rot , twist or crack and will then need to be fixed or replaced. Either way traditional wood decking is more costly in the long term than JFC Earth-wood. No Replacement of Rotting boards: Earth-Wood is non-porous and is guaranteed not to be affected by either Wet or Dry rot. Earth-wood is also guaranteed against damage caused by Woodworm. No Cracks or Splinters: Earth-Wood is guaranteed not to crack splinter or split under normal conditions. No mould or fungus growth: As Earth-Wood is non porous there is no opportunity for fungus or mould to take hold. As with any surface however, regular cleaning is recommended to avoid the build up of dirt or debris onto which mould or fungus might attach. No special tools required: Earth-wood contains no glues, epoxies, or other harsh chemicals. There are no knots or natural defects and it is therefore kind to woodworking tools and blades. Its composite engineered structure has been tested and proven to give better screw and nail retention than most hardwoods. Cleaning: The only maintenance required by your Earth-wood deck is cleaning. If required it is easily cleaned using a brush and water or it can be power washed without any concerns. Finish: It is available in a smooth or slip resistant finish and in a variety of lengths, widths and thicknesses. It is available in a variety of wood tones and colours (subject to quantity). Flexibility: Relative to timber and other composite decking Earth-wood is very flexible and can be adapted and curved by steaming it before use.
