Earth-wood was borne out of the urgent need to create a viable replacement product for varying grades of hardwood without compromising on quality or visual appeal.
Hardwood and semi hardwood trees are considered by the World Environmental Organisation to be under increased threat by the continuing devastation of high-density forests throughout the world. The World Wildlife Foundation recently confirmed that 50% of the Worlds rainforests are now destroyed and Gone.
Greenpeace and Rainforest Relief have initiated an aggressive campaign to stop this devastation.
The FSC “Forestry Stewardship Council” are powerless to ensure the implementation of their guidelines. Unless a viable alternative is found this devastation will continue. 
Earth-wood is the latest generation of Wood Composite technology that looks, feels and acts like real wood. Earth-wood is the natural evolution of hardwoods and semi hardwoods. It is manufactured using a unique blend of re-claimed wood flour (fine sawdust) sourced from sawmill’s and joinery houses and the remainder is comprised of re-cycled or re-claimed polymers.
This process known as composite engineering creates one of the toughest, most durable and visually attractive surfaces available while at the same time removing a huge amount of used products from the waste stream.
Earth-wood is one of the few products contributing to the protection of our environment at both ends of the scale. From the reduction in the threat to our worlds rainforests to the reduction in non biodegradable waste going into our landfills.
