Most water based, non acidic deck cleaning products work well on Earth-wood however hosing down and brushing your deck area with water will generally be sufficient. Maintaining a clean surface is the best method for preventing build-up of unwanted debris. Even if the deck appears clean, it is important to prevent build-up of pollen and debris which could lead to mildew growth. While it is highly unlikely that you will get mildew or fungus growth on your Earth-wood deck, if you allow the build up of dirt, pollen, leaves etc then it is likely that you will experience unwanted fungal growth over this. If this occurs you can easily remedy the problem by power washing your deck. Earth-wood also supplies an environmentally approved deck cleaner.
